Hi diyer. Many of these plants, in one gallon containers, can be purchased for $10 - 20 which seems rather reasonable to me. Shade plants are more of a specialty item and frequently take longer to grow to sellable size because they have adapted to less sun, i.e. growing in a less desirable situation. But they are worth the wait and worth the price. I just purchased 80 1 gallon beech ferns and wood ferns for a new area in my garden. I'm going to be loving life this weekend when I plant.
