Yeah I think it looks really great! The top left picture looks like they even painted the beams a taupe color. It makes everything look clean and brings it up to a modern look. Good luck! Congratulations on your upcoming retirement!

it all blends in beautifully. only noticed the beams match the door etc from your comment. still have a few years before retirement but pulling the finances now. LOL. take care and thank so much for you help has decided me quite excited.

Talk about 'Roots". I own an A. Quincy Jones home - one of 4 built in Oregon. I've found out more and more over time about the architect and contemporaries at the time like his relationship with Rummer and Eichler. http://www.eichlernetwork.com/article/roots-eichler-gable .
