Is this the same plant I've heard called Queen Anne's Lace? It has a similar look. I'm in NC.

I don't always drink wine, but when I do it has never been stored between the studs of an exterior wall (insulation anyone?) as seems to be the case in the pic of the breakfast/dining nook. Or maybe I had exceeded my limit when I looked at the pic.

Reminds me of Texas Sage - Leucophyllum frutescens - which is also a hardy and drought tolerant (at least it is in my area).

I thought it was our hardy, fabulous deer resistant Texas Sage until I got through the article.

My life changed when I embraced my love for red. I think La Lune's art is perfect. The lighting and fire compliment the glow and the russet does accent the pillows.

I would love to plant a combination of roses and clematis in our center city Philadelphia courtyard. Are there any varieties that would work best in our climate? Thanks so much!

Jen, go to a local nursery and you will see lots of clematis that work in this area. I live in the same area and I have a few clematis (all different) and they do really well.

Here are two 'different' options for countertops. GlassECO, from Fisher Recycling, is a custom, recycled glass counter top that comes in a wide variety of colors. Below are two countertops, and a detail of one of our favorites, a green glass finish. This is a great option to add an eclectic element to your project, and is also environmentally and budget friendly. Charleston Forge is a more traditional, yet beautifully unique approach, using hammered metal and hand-planed wood to make custom wooden pieces that are truly remarkable and one of a kind. They offer a wide variety of finishes, and also offer quality leathers and glass tops. Below is a tabletop they constructed.
