This is great. Beautiful job and on a scale that is accessible to far more than the average makeover featured on Houzz.

Gee whiz, that attack on built-in fridges was just plain...weird. Nothing about Viking 6-burner stoves or miles of granite...

Victoran, make sure you boost the pots up off the ground with spacers (don't block the drain hole!), or move the pots every season. If the pots are resting on the ground, the tree roots will migrate up through the drain holes and into the pots. I was called out to troubleshoot a container garden that had 1/2-inch tree roots coming up through the bottom. They had been in the same place for a couple of years.

RollingPlanter.com. i like your ethos. Makes sense to have rolling containers until you know how much sun your favorite plants need.

Thanks, this is beautiful. My husband and I like use white and black as well, in our 1950 house there are wood panels in the basement too, in two bedrooms (rooms?) and the bathroom, but we are scared to remove them and find asbestos insulation under them, at least in the exterior walls, somebody try something like this in 70 years old house???

Right now RAIN and lots of it. Here in Queensland we are desparate for a very big down pour. There is something about the sound of rain on a tin roof.

For years I longed for a kitchen I could view the sunrise and a family room to view the sunset. Four years ago with our newly purchased home I realized my longing to be true. A cup of coffee with my husband and music from happy song birds. Complete bliss.
