Hometown Building/Intercept joanmcd- is the block wall surface going to be shower wall surface. Are there any walls adjacent to the block wall. Niches can be on any wall in the shower. Also there is no real relationship between a built in bench and a niche. In fact, making it convenient to the bench might be uncomfortable for other uses in the shower. PamDesigns 3D This really does work! We have a combination living and dining room that has very tall vaulted ceilings. The walls are painted white and the tall curtains are neutral as well. The dark curtain rods help make the space more "people scale."
It occurs to me that this may be a way for renters to help balance their decor when they can't change the paint color.
