koolbeanzzzz Hi -- It's concrete curbing. You can search the web to find professionals in your area. Be sure they are reliable though (check previous jobs they have done - very important).

    Thanks!

koolbeanzzzz That's a Creeping Fig. They are in the "ficus" family, but they don't flower. Some maintenance involved with keeping them trimmed so they look nice and neat.

    Thanks!

koolbeanzzzz Hello. The lighting is wired. Did myself with my husband. Very easy. I'm not a fan of solar lights. They never last.

    Thanks!

mrdisanto thanks! i read your comment to the other user on your whole strategy for doing this. i was going to do the border afterward, but it sounds like lighting and border really need to happen in phase 1. you have been extremely helpful in all your feedback to everyone. thanks so much! i learned a lot and you stopped me from making mistakes up front!!

koolbeanzzzz Thank you. The plant behind the boulder is a Society Garlic. They are very easy to grow.

Would love to see pics of your landscape when you are finished :)

mrdisanto Thanks. My landscaper mentioned that name in his list of plants but i didn't realize that was what he was referring to!

koolbeanzzzz The headboard was from West Elm, but I don't think they have any longer. I bought it several years ago.

    Thanks!

koolbeanzzzz Wow. I was surprised to see my bedroom featured here (first photo). I like light colored sheets as well and used ivory along with the chocolate matlasse. I love climbing into my bed with books, magazines and my kitty at the foot. Great feeling.

Nice idea book by Apartment 46!

koolbeanzzzz Hi ... The head board was found on Craigslist for $25.00. I feel in love with it!

    Thanks!

P.S. - You can find them online if you search Peacock Wicker Headboards. Etsy has them too. :)
