I know how you feel! I, too, really wanted a barn door in our 1929 house's basement to close off the furnace area. Because of the low ceilings and duct work there was not room for the classic barn door so we had to settle for sliding closet doors that look like barn doors. I do wish we could have had the whole shamozzle with the track hardware but the doors are beautiful and add so much to the room. I am happy that we can have at least a hint of barn door.

Krista Krahn, I have seen those too. Where someone turns an old CRT computer monitor into a fish tank or a console TV into a dog bed etc. I just cringe wondering if someone is going to get seriously injured trying that. Old tube TVs and computer monitors need to be discharged before handling inside the case and the tubes need to be disposed of as hazardous waste.
