Am I the only one who notices a problem with the open shelving? I end up with lint on things in my laundry after a time, and having no cabinet doors would just mean more to clean. Right now, I don't have doors on shelves and I wish I did!

All pretty ideas to make the laundry room look nicer or preform better. But what about the real important items?

Like a floor drain?
Like automatic shut offs?
Like proper subfloor preparation for vibration?
Choosing the right thin-set. The right grout?
Expansion room.....

It's not all fluff fluff - failing to look into these issues can make that most beautiful Laundry Room a ticking time bomb of failure.

What will happen to your dinning room and living room floors if your washing machine craps out?

What will happen to your bathroom floor tile if it's back to back with the laundry room and your dryer is out of balance?

Look deeper into these issues if your are building one time.
