Sometimes doing both is the way to go...too much brick can be toned down with paint, but leaving a small amount exposed creates a focal point!

Hate mine. Too heavy and never use it. Takes up too much space - that I don't have but was a gift from my hubby...so there it sits.

Milshaf we don't have bunnies eat our plants anymore, but they used to, so maybe. I also use something else that kept the bunnies at Bay. It was something that a Garden nursery owner told me is a trade secret, called MILORGANITE, it keeps a lot of critters away if they are around it. It has coyote or some other wild predatory animal's urine as part of the ingredient and it comes in granules. It is also a fertilizer. I put it around my beds and near the place of entry into my plantings where they were. They did stay away and the granules last a while unless you have a lot of rain. I live in the desert, so no problem here.
