Becky, what are the colors used throughout the house? (livingroom walls, fireplace, kitchen island, bathrooms, etc.?) I live in Johns Creek/Alpharetta area here in GA! Hello! EVERYTHING here is traditional. I was the first in my hood to paint my garage door black... and it was disapproved by HOA! But they were late by 2 days in their response time according to their own rules. Loop holes! So, my exterior is now brick faced, grey hardiplank, with 2 tone grey trim and black shutters, entry door and garage door! Yay! I want my interior to flow with my already accomplished transitional exterior with a limited natural light home. That is why I ask for the gray colors. These traditional Georgian homes can be very natural light limiting. Mine is VERY much so. These grays look ideal to work with. Thanks in advance! Bobbi j

Hello Bobbi! Which room were you interested in? I see that the kitchen is tagged (Sherwin-Williams Passive) and any of the colors I knew of I wrote in the captions or tagged the photos with (do you know about tags? Click on an individual photo and hover your mouse over it and little green tags with product info pop up).

Also, Renewal is local (I noticed they are doing a reno on my block recently and I'm excited about it - they do such nice work), so I'm not sure exactly what their scope is in terms of project size/budget, but perhaps one of their designers can help you with color consulting. I actually met the nicest man wearing a Renewal shirt at the gas station a few weeks ago and we had a great chat. I also hired Jennifer Ott, a Houzz contributor to help me long-distance with color consulting and she is fantastic - it is well-worth the relatively small investment.

I love the story of your garage door - you go! What the heck colors do they approve of for garage doors if they don't allow black? Sounds like someone over there is on a power trip.
