ploefff Since the headline says "designer hotels" Hotel Fox in Copenhagen is worth a mention. Each room is decorated by an different artist and no 2 look a like. They have good service and a nice breakfast buffet - I know because I chose to stay their for my honeymoon.

KSID Studio, LLC The Minnesota Chapter of ASID 2013 Showcase House opened this weekend. The historic Victorian home is part bed and breakfast and part private residence. Tours of the home are open through June 9th. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to design the Parlor and Powder Room on the project.

thebsquared01 Kalm B&B (www.kalm.co.za) in Clarens, South Africa is any design minded travelers dream. The owners are an interior designer and a landscaper. Each of the 5 rooms is decorated differently and Karen and Malcolm are the best B&B owners I have come across.

The town of Clarens is a dream destination with some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in South Africa. The town has become a Mecca for artists and creative minds.

felixgrantham The FRICK! http://www.frick.org/visit It's a house, built around turn of the century, taking up a full block next to Central Park with the family's fabulous Art Collection. Absolute Magic!

Cathedral of St. John in Harlem http://www.harlemonestop.com/organization.php?id=275 is also fabulous if time allows.

Also - Chinatown for food and great decorative accents!

If you're going, check out 1/2 price theater tickets the day of the show at TKTS TKTS (the line is long, but it only takes about an hour) - second location on Wall St. has a very short line if you're staying anywhere near.

angela_flute52689 Bocce is an Italian game. Therefore, the correct spelling is "bocce" and it's pronounced BO-chay, not BAH-chee.
