Coming Abstractions RosieW - for outdoor art I would definitely advise a quality acrylic paint (like Golden or made-for-murals NOVA paints) on canvas with a minimum of 2 coats of acrylic UV varnish for added protection. I've created a number of paintings on unstretched canvas and nailed them to my fence, where they hung for several years. The colors never faded though eventually the canvas was shredded by a curious neighborhood cat who decided to make a couple of the lower ones his clawing post.....

rosiew Thanks for the great advice, Coming Attractions. Now I need to talk an artistic friend into doing something for me. I paint - walls, houses, nothing in my soul can produce a lovely painting.

laurie_lisak I really enjoyed your review of the housing color combinations. I am struggling with colors for my front porch and my back deck. The brick has a lot of orange in it. Any suggestions?

K.O.H. Construction Corporation I viewed the pics at "other photos". That's a good size home and a lot of work. Really looks good through out.

Mari Richards published an ideabook: Warm Up the Home Office With a Fine Wooden Desk

Sayra Adams There's no need to pay an arm & a leg on furniture! I scored an AMAZING mid century pine desk with toothpick legs. It's alot like the featured desk above. I paid $45 for my desk. I looked it up online, and it had a $1,200 value! The pine is scuffed and sad looking. So I'm painting the outer part gloss white. The drawers will be natural pine. It pays to check out thrift stores, and Habitat Restore!

Studio NOO Design Nice furniture indeed !
