Oh my goodness...so very true! As a landscape designer, the most difficult task is plant choice and placement. I spend WAY more time researching, pondering, choosing the plants for a plan than the actual design. There are so many considerations. And even when the plants are in the ground I wonder if they were the best choices I could have made! And, yes, native plants should/are my first choice. Native flora brings native fauna!
