Think Fabricate was co-founded by Susan Doban and Jason Gorsline in November 2009 as a multidisciplinary design studio affiliated with Doban Architecture. Gorsline is a former principal at A&G Designs, where he was design director. Doban is an award winning architect and founder of Doban Architecture. Think Fabricate’s primary goal is to design solutions for better living, learning and community. All of the company’s collections are designed and manufactured in Brooklyn, using sustainable materials, natural wood, applied color and historical motifs juxtaposed with modern forms. Current projects include custom furnishings for the award-winning Academic Center at Monroe College as well as custom furniture designs for several residential projects. Think Fabricate is also a member of Furniture New York – a non-profit organization and consortium of designers and craftspeople fostering community and education in the greater New York area.
