I love the vintage bathrooms. Due to wall damage, I had to tear out old vintage yellow and black tile. I kept vintage look by replacing bottom of walls with white bead board, top of walls with a bright teal/aqua paint, and put white tile with a few black tiles checkered in - in the bathtub area, and large shiny black tile flooring. Except for tub, kept pedestal sink and original toilet. It's beautiful, fresh, kept costs to a minimum and still looks very vintage.
