I don't see any mention of gravel stabilizer mesh in this article or comments. I am keen to hear of anyone's experience with it. Sounds like a great option. This is the only US site I could find - lots in the UK and Europe. http://www.core6systems.com/coregravel
It has recently been introduced here in New Zealand and I am keen to try it.

For the person asking about their driveway...In CNY we have driveway crush. It's a combo of sizes and stone dust that packs down to a firm surface.
