What has your tile installer said can be done? If it is true travertine then it would have been sealed at some point in time. It can be problematic to get a paint to adhere to stone that has been sealed. If this is ceramic tile that is made to look like travertine then you can look at using paint that is specifically made to go over tiles.

Not usually. On a fridge for instance, you have to order the entire door assembly as the insulation is sprayed in after the door is assembled... So this would get costly. Last time I priced a replacement door it was around $500. Not worth it for an old fridge.

I would do inside mount roman shades in the dining room, two or four panels on the window behind the couch, and nothing on the French door, if possible.

The mirror does not sit on backsplash . We just added the stone. I don't like the side at all but our fabricator ended up to be a disaster to work with and does not cooperate.

It is easy to remove it and add other one but you are correct, changing the sides, will help.

Her cabinets in master is dark gray but in powder room is white with tiny gray tone. All her walls are gray.

Hello zohrehalaghemand.
1st of all, I don't understand your comment "marble was supposed to white but it turned gray".
Did you not approve the material before it was installed?
That's a red flag to me, on your behalf.

2nd, this installation appears to be very clean & modern - it should be durable & easy to maintain.
Aesthetically, it's really quite lovely.
I would leave well enough alone & choose a nice paint color to compliment the slab material that is shown in your photos.

Best of luck to you!

Hi LMD

I ordered the right material but our fabricator picked it up and started work on it before I got a chance to review it.

The sample marble was a lot whiter than this one but I am ok with this but was not that crazy about the thick look of backsplash.

I am going to change the side ones.
