Traditional Dining Room
where can I find these beautiful swags and do they come in different designs?
I am a small seamstress in KY and I have a customer who likes these. I have looked at MFay patterns and am having a hard time seeing how the corners of this swag pattern is made.
It's a swag board-mounted with a double jabot.
I like the simple swag for the living room windows.
The swag — so formal, so traditional and so expected that I've never used it. However, with stunning design like this, I totally get it. The swag is ideal for historic homes such as fanciful Southern Traditionals.

find a valance rod that big around? I would need it in black. Do you think it is wooden?
of the valance called? Can I get instructions of this valance on line?
I bought that valance in a catalog called Country Curtains only the sides come down longer its beautiful .
pretty valance can be created by using M’Fay Pattern 9280 Victory Swag. Use the return instead of the jabot. Make a change by cutting a downward scallop shape at the bottom of the horn. A kitchen plate can be used to help you get the shape.
Hi All! This is a custom made window treatment designed and fabricted by J. Stephens Interiors. It is a Jim Thompson Toile fabric wiht custom trim to match. The style is a kingston valance

Swag with decorative rod or could make same effect with scarf.
Swags with a decorative rod. This formal swag and jabot treatment is downplayed by the decorative bamboo rod. The treatment says serious, but the rod says playful — a great combination.Style tip: When using fabric in a kitchen, coordinate or match the fabric of your window treatment to the hard

Where can I find instructions to do the swag in my LR?

high windows, make valances larger.
top swag....idea for tall bedroom window
Traditional swags. This dining room gets the royal treatment from the heightened center of the swag and the crowning decorative finial. Taking the side jabots to the floor and allowing them to balloon at the bottom creates an elegant look. Style tip: Paint your walls the exact same color as your window treatments

At 60" you may need a second swag but yes, otherwise it would work.
Swag for family room bay window
ished swags. This expertly tailored swag has jabots placed over the center scallop rather than behind it. The contrasting banding emphasizes its design. Style tip: Placing fabric above a nook of any sort creates a warm and cozy space, much like a fabric canopy on a bed.
