Negatives: Can't put stuff on top of vanity when mirror is down (closed).
double sink vanity. The three doors on the front made it perfect for a two sink vanity. The middle cupboard is all usable space and there is lots of storage in the other cupboards under the sinks. We put Travertine tile on top with the original sideboard wood backsplash. We added brass and crystal chandelier
Which Kohler sink style did you use and what are the sink dimensions? Do the sinks go nearly all the way back to the wood backsplash and how many inches of vanity top surface do you have in front
taller. Our vanity is about kitchen height just because that is how tall it was.
Thanks.

Hi. Sorry, I just saw your question. This vanity is 6'8" long and 21" deep, which is what we needed for our space. For a single sink, 2'6 to 3' long would give you some counter space on each side of the sink
Love this look.... Beautiful.. How long is the vanity itself?
Can u tell me who makes the vanity?
Can you please tell me what the vanity top and sink is? Would really appreciate knowing what the material is for the top and who makes it?
Thanks!

Can you purchase these vanities or were they custom made? I notice they have electrical outlets in the sides; this is a plus.

standard vanity is 20"-24" deep. If you have the space you could use the 33" desk but ensure you install the sink within a few inches from the front of the desk.
It is an old oak desk used as a vanity. The counter top is varnished oak. The sink is from Kohler.
DIT teacher's desk becomes a vanity
An old teacher's desk also makes a lovely vanity. And here the drawer space can be saved, since the plumbing can fit in the middle.
desk as a vanity really works for me!
Vanity idea that keeps drawer space because plumbing is in the middle.
inventive vanity is created from an old desk. The drawers make perfect storage for toiletries and necessities.
An old office desk transformed into a vanity is a genius touch. The drawers provide extra storage for toiletries.
