Lovely way to cover a slope.

fava bean, legumes and clover for a ground cover. till under to add nitrogen to the soil
Give back to your garden. Fill in the empty spots in your landscape with a cover crop. While you may end up with more fava beans than you know what to do with, that’s the idea. These crops aren’t grown for food; instead, they are tilled or dug into the soil as amendments

This garden provides the family with spring through late fall vegetables including lettuces, tomatoes, beets, peas, eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, and a ton of basil and other herbs! I am currently trying to replicate these exact beds, I have my wood cut to length and finished. Do you know what color stain
I'd like to have a vegetable garden using planters like these. How shall I plan for water drainage? It's also a great spot because (I think) I can keep the deer and rabbits out by having a gate at the top of the stairs that lead to it.
would like to get the same color if possible. Also, how are the rails fastened to the bed? Thanks!
What is the height and width? How deep is the soil?
How do you care for the planters?

traditional garden in the French style that contains fruits, berries, herbs, cutting, and vegetable garden.
thanks to tell me if i can use this picture and which photographer should i mention. Thanks. Marie
How do you water this garden?
How wide are garden beds themselves? And how much did the brick cost you?
No need to till. The reason I designed the radial walks and narrow beds was to eliminate soil compaction. You can reach in from both sides without any
cultivator to loosen the soil for planting, but that is all. We started with native soil and ammended with aged horse manure, tilled it one time and simply add home made compost as a topdress. The winters freeze and thaw on the soil prepares it nicely for spring planting.

I've all but given up on such a garden because of the deer. Is this structure tall enough and strong enough to keep deer out? Its so beautiful!
What was put under the drain rock to stop the weeds?
Did you use 4x4 and 1x's for building this? Is that a wire in the same area you have the garden tools hanging from, what's on top of it?
of the garden out of 21A gravel and put the decorative gravel on top. There is probably 6-8" of base before it gets to the soil, and we have landscape fabric separating the gravel and soil.
nice way to keep deer out of your garden
Love this garden! Fence may be too expensive though.
This is what a quadrant garden but more vegetables and less flowers.
Gorgeous garden, can walk around, it's protected sides
