How to secure picket fence on top of the stone?
How was this accomplished. Great idea!
GreenCraft for your comments, very lovely garden design
It's pea gravel. Usually stone centers have samples you can choose from for the color. Beneath the stone is a layer of weed fabric. Weeds do sneak through the fabric in time, but because this was an organic garden, I pulled them by hand rather than
Do you have a suggested plant list? Looking to do something similar with my Harvard, MA garden.

Thanks. It's surprising how much produce you can get from a 7' x 8' bed like this.

If squirrels are a problem we can completely enclose the garden system.
That is a 16 x 16 fully enclosed garden system. It stands approx 7 1/2 feet tall. We used vinyl coated 2 in x 4 in fencing overlaid with 1/2 in x 1/2 in vinyl coated hardware cloth.

Raised Bed Vegetable Garden
The star at the center of this veggie garden is the perfect place for the dwarf lemon tree. The six pointed star (just like the Great Seal of the United States) is ideal for the strawberries to cascade over the edges. The star is 6' with 3' clearance around the star so the space is wide enough to
Approximately sq. ft. for this garden. Handsome! Thanks.
I would like to have this beauty in my own yard. How do you keep the wood from rotting?
How deep is the soil and what material was used? Redwood like the outside?

Custom multi-level vegetable beds and an in-ground BBQ pit add function to this contemporary garden space.
Paver walkway around planter boxes, garden setup, simple trellis, it all looks decorative even though its functional/edible!!
garden along fence, different heights of beds
it is to clearly mark the boundaries of the outdoor rooms. In this backyard a patio close to the house is covered in large concrete pavers, raised vegetable beds run along the fence line, a barbecue area sits at the end of the yard, and a grassy area keeps the center open and flexible.

What is better for a vegetable garden, full sun or partial?
I'm not sure what zone this is but I'm in Dallas and many things I plant that say they can be full sun do not survive. I just want to make sure I do it...
