The ventilation hoods are from Sirius. Dishwashers are Bosch. The wall ovens and microwave are Wolf. Refrigerators are SubZero.
Idea for ventilation over island - could be "double barrel" or single. Vent is only 14.2" in diameter...I would position 4" between the silos.

Who is the maker of the ceiling fan. Thanks
The ceiling and fan is awesome.
ceiling fan looks against them. I think that's because the fan's paddles have the same type of varying color, but it's arranged in a different form. So it stands out even though the colors aren't much of a contrast. I also like this because octagonal ceilings are just cool! And speaking of "cool,"
ceiling fan but also the look of transom like windows over casement like windows.
Love the ceiling fan, the coffee table and the cushions

down on fan noise: The blower part of a fan can be located in 3 different areas. Typically it sits in the actual carcass, or body, of the appliance. This is the version that creates the loudest sound. There is also an inline blower, which sits halfway in the duct run, either between ceiling joists or
compactible fan products or to create a total custom ventilation system. Give the location of the exterior blower consideration. Although you can mount the unit to any exterior wall or roof, you don't want it to be close to often-used pathways or living spaces.

you have ventilation for your cooktop? If so, do you ever USE it!?!? I am contemplating putting our cooktop on our island like you have here. I really like what you have done here...
sort of ventilation. Even if, for some strange reason, your local/municipal building code allows you to get away without putting one in. Preferably, an Island overhead hood fan, or at least the (less efficient) popup downdraft ventilation system. Just be careful to select one that will work with your cooktop
draft ventilation. I believe the homeowner uses it regularly. I would not recommend installing a stove or cooktop without some kind of ventilation.
not a fan of having to go up to steps when I am old. or if a hip program, ect.

4. Keep it moving. Those ceiling fans in your house shouldn't just gather dust once the warm weather passes. To distribute heat throughout the room, find the small switch on the main body of the fan that reverses
reverses the fan's direction. When you don't feel a breeze, that means the fan is blowing air upward, circulating air without cooling the room. Hot air trapped at the ceiling will be forced down along the walls. You'll feel warmer, and the thermostat will be satisfied sooner, saving you money. If you have ductwork
