A gabion wall. Hilfiker gabion baskets filled with river rock cobblestone make up this wall. Darwin Webb, the landscape architect for the project, put a sealer on the rocks to saturate and bring out the full color in the stone. Gabion walls give the space a modern feel

Not really! This landscape had an excessive amount of water. So we planned a french drain and dry creek bed to maximize the drainage and create some character in the space.

around every corner. The view from any angle offers something new and interesting. The property is a constant work in progress as planting beds and landscape installations are in constant ebb and flow.
way to much light and make it a pretty dark place. So much so that there is no undergrowth and it remains fairly damp at all times. Would love to landscape it, just need to know how much I should thin it out. Just wondered if there was a general rule of thumb. Thank you!!
