Hi, we are putting our home on the market in the next few months. We have seen a property, a Bungalow with 3 beds. The thing is the have not made very good use of the space the property has, inside or out. I am looking for ideas for open plan over two levels, possibly with gallery. Any ideas?
What do you do around the exposed edges of the Kronos flooring?
I want to create a wall with salvaged or recycled wood in my very small bedroom. My floor is bamboo and I have a concrete ceiling. Will a wood panelled wall make my room look smaller and will it make it very dark? I appreciate your advice!

We are considering doing a similar ceiling technique, exposed joists. The question being what to do about all the exposed nails? Also, did you stain floor joists? They look so good
Hi, I'm wondering who made the wall lights, and how much wattage can be used? Are they good at producing ambient light? THANKS!
quite a bit, so acting more for "accent" than ambient illumination. Wonderful fixtures, high quality, worth every penny. Shown here in "raw aluminum" , they are available in a variety of metals and finishes. Good luck!
The house was originally a barn built about 150 years ago. The exposed wood is cedar which was widely available in the area at the time of construction. It's just the natural wood that has been sandblasted -no paint or

Also, if you would be so kind, what is going on with the roof insulation/ventilation? I'm wanting to do an attic conversion and expose the rafters, but not sure how to handle roof ventilation and insulation.

we are re-doing our kitchen with the same colour and style cabinets. We have a slate coloured floor and having a very difficult time picking out a countertop. Would prefer granite with some soft greys and not too busy as the floor is busy. Very small kitchen
What is the name and finish on the kitchen cabinets? They look very nice.
Susan below it? We are remodeling&your cabinets are now like the ones above except our range is much farther away? Also the upper cabinets it appears very close to the window? Any thoughts. Love your kitchen, thank you.
@robincarter: The exposed hinges come as part of the cabinets and would come from the cabinet manufacturer. I believe the other pulls and handles came from Top Knobs, but I'm not positive. Another good source of hardware is coolknobsandpulls.com Gary Dresser Dresser

our basement and I thought it would look good ! Thanks
Very nice work. Could you let me know how you detailed where the wood floor and the brick wall meet? Do you have any closeups of that condition? Thanks
Nice simple living room styling. A good rug is very important in the living room as is good quality art that really sings to us. Would like all art to be gallery hung from the ceiling.
enhancing the exposed brick and others materials of the space.
Looks good with the dark colored ceiling and the browns and blacks also. Could be idea for the den off the kitchen. You were not sure what you wanted to do?

Could you tell me what is the brick and rock you have used on this house? It looks very nice!
are easier to control the quality but usually are about 50% more than box beams. When doing box beams make sure you have a good craftsman that can hide the corner joints well, and ask them to provide a mock up section to verify you like the wood, color, finish, and joint quality.
the table, chairs and stools for my kitchen. The only problem is that some of the reviews say the chairs are not super sturdy/great quality, but the price is really good and it's a cute set.
Here is a link: ... Good luck with your project.
Never pure white and yes there is a very slight glaze
These are some beautiful beams, I am a fan of good craftsmanship. We do a lot of custom box beams on our projects, done right they are a terrific product.
