Enduring Northwest Landscapes
This type of path is very durable here in the Pacific Northwest. Rarely do we get a hard freeze however. It was time consuming in this case because we cut some of the pieces

Irregular bluestone stepper path and woodland shade garden.
Laying a stone and moss path
lowest point of the walk was around 15 percent in a straight line, but by making the path a meandering circle, we were able to keep the grade of the actual walkway closer to 6-10 percent. We followed the natural contours to some degree, so there is variability in the grade of the path.
Nice walk with steppingstone and planted textures

walking path from barn to entryway
beautifully landscaped path instead of steps. This would be much easier to navigate than lots and lots of short steps. What a fabulous design...very unique.
Alexander Wang used long zippers to reign in his flouncy yet relaxed looks. Try using this move with a zipper-shaped path in your landscape.
The beaten path. If the only truly green space you can create is around your sidewalk or driveway: make the most of it. These stones were simply shifted left and right when positioned, but effect goes a long (and nonintrusive) way.
