gravel patio, walled garden space, privacy and european
Anyone can create a secret garden. Existing walls make great backdrops for your own special outdoor rooms. This ivy-covered wall, wall fountain and table and chairs provide a private space for outdoor entertaining or sipping a class of lemonade on a hot day.
Suppress noises with a tall barrier. The goal is to create a tall, wedge-shaped barrier that directs sound waves upward. A solid wall will go a long ways towards moderating noises. Hard surfaces like masonry, stucco or stone will reflect sound waves and bounce them up and back toward

integral pewter colored concrete wall defining and retaining earth around it. A water feature is the backdrop to this outdoor room extending the flooring material (slate) into the vertical plane covering a wall that houses three playful stainless steel spouts that spill water into a large basin. Koi Fish
Fish, Gold fish and water plants bring a new mini ecosystem of life, and provide a focal point and meditational environment. The integral colored concrete wall begins at the main water feature and weaves to the south west corner of the yard where water once again emerges out of a 4” stainless steel channel;
provides children with an opportunity to safely play with water by floating toy boats down the channel. At the north eastern end of the integral colored concrete wall, a warm western red cedar bench extends perpendicular out from the water feature on the outside of the slate patio maximizing seating space

Water flows over the corten rusted-steel edges of this courtyard waterfeature and down into a small channel also filled with pebbles. This whole structure was set to finish flush with only a half-inch gap between the water surface and a cast concrete seat wall that extends along the courtyard’s perimeter
this a water feature or glass?
How long will the corten steel last as a water feature?
I have been advised this type of steel may not be too great over a long period of time as the water washes the rust effect away? It looks fantastic though and would like to use it if possible.
This looks fantastic. I can't figure out how you get the water to flow and how smooth it is. Is this an optical illusion and does the water flow from the wider to smaller widths ? Thanks

Is the water stagnant or circulating? How does it stay so clear/clean? Love everything about this landscape!
Hat kind of stone is used in the water feature ?
water feature!!!!! love this! but would want something pouring into it for the water sound
Like the cobbles in the water feature.
Stones in the bottom of water feature
stones and rocks often look better shiny in water. Include in water features.
Like this water feature for backyard
Love the ix of pebbles and water
rocks in water as a feature
rounded cobbles in the base create interest, while the clear, still water reflects the surrounding garden. The raising and separating of the rill by the use of a surround of cobbles makes a real feature of the rill.

how is the water and pump operated?
How do you get the water to flow so nice and evenly over the tile? I have a large rock that I would love to have water flowing down into a rock basin, but am not sure how to do the plumbing on it. Thanks so mucn

Nice potential water feature going down levels
This a good idea for the waterfall. Are the walls just concrete? Or are they treated with something?
Steel water feature incorporated into a poured wall
Combine water and metal. This simple water feature, created from rusted steel, allows the different textures of the stone, steel and water to contrast. A further contrast is also created by the still, clear stream feeding the waterfall and the turbulent result below it.

How is the water feature installed and who was the manufacturer? Is it partial custom with a kit or was it all purchased together and installed in a niche? Thanks!
Beautiful feature with both aesthetic and practical benefits. This
attempt an indoor water feature in my home. It's my hope that placing it near our music room will help maintain sufficient humidity for instruments with soundboards. As I design the piece, I'm curious to know the total gallon capacity of the reservoir (since it must hold all water in the system) and
of the pump to get the even flow across the back wall. Also, I assume the pump can be turned off or on by a switch, did you consider a timer or humidistat? Lastly, is the water reservoir auto replenished with a float valve and it's own plumbed water source? I have to assume evaporation could remove
