The whole room, including the curved alcove where flowers are, is a tissue paper effect. The walls were covered in tissue. (Pro tip= Rip the edges before applying with wallpaper paste. It makes edges”
“) most walls were painted in a rich burgundy with a dark cherry glaze. The alcove and ceiling were painted antique white with a caramel glaze. A border of flat black was applied and a metallic border was painted around both sides of the black.
The tissue was specifically chosen for it's physical texture”
