no need for wall lamps
This black-and-white bedroom is so modern and minimalist, to me it sneaks into impersonal territory. I think just a touch of color in the form of a throw or a natural wood side table would turn this room from cool to perfection.
to the wall and stand out because of the black on white. They also allow the designer to use small tulip side tables at the bedside.

love this bedroom wall unit. I have a couple of questions about the base or drawer cabinets. It appears that there is no edging except for the front of the cabinets? If correct how much of an edge or lip does the front edge overhang? Are the sides flush with the bottom of the shelving unit?
Is this a custom wall unit? If not...where can I get this? I love it! Great use of small space!
gorgeous! My bedroom is so very tiny and I was thinking of building open shelving on the sides and I have a window to do shelves over and also thee is a slightly vaulted ceiling to deal with (another reason for the 'open' shelves. I am also thinking NO bottom side tables for a more spacious, open look?
Thx for the response! Do you have any images of the swing lighting you've installed on murphy beds or links to products that you've used? Were you able to hide the cords or were they cordless? Finally, what did you do with the gap between the wall and the mattress? Lean pillows over it?
