Walnut floors are a soft wood and will dent easily!
This natural walnut floor is the perfect bridge between the white cabinetry in this kitchen's periphery, the black island and the dark red stools. The wooden counter on the island pulls these contrasting cabinetry and furniture colors even closer together.

What type of floor and stain?
What is the brand name and stain of the Walnut floors?
Is the floor finished with poly (water or oil) or is it a oil finish? Doesn't seem to have much sheen which makes this look even richer.
These were unfinished 5" x 3/4" walnut floors that were nailed down and finished in place. You should be able to find this material through a local hardwood installer, or a flooring material distributor.

Walnut floors with a very light, almost natural stain. Just a little color to richen it, however the unique graining and color variation that is inherent to Walnut is still visible.

Family Room
This family room is a one of a kind. The stone on the wall matches the stone that was used on the exterior of the house. The walnut floors are 7" boards that were custom stained. The beams were custom built and stained. Contact Mark Hickman Homes for more information.
