built-in water features, and prefer not to use pre-cast models as every project, home-owner and house is unique.
Small, low maintenance water feature that could project from dugout area from the slope next to neighbors.
water runs into an exposed reservoir rather than hidden- great idea! plus the sound of running water that the drop would create.
still water. Make sure you don't have any standing water around your yard, be it a still pond, puddle, birdbath or that garbage can lid you forgot was there months ago. If you have a fountain or another source of water, make sure it's always moving. This will keep mosquitos from breeding.
The water appears to be traveling from indoors to out as well. This yard was so well-thought out. The sound of the water also helped to drown out the sounds of the 'hood...

Water flows over the corten rusted-steel edges of this courtyard waterfeature and down into a small channel also filled with pebbles. This whole structure was set to finish flush with only a half-inch gap between the water surface and a cast concrete seat wall that extends along the courtyard’s perimeter
this a water feature or glass?
How long will the corten steel last as a water feature?
I have been advised this type of steel may not be too great over a long period of time as the water washes the rust effect away? It looks fantastic though and would like to use it if possible.
get the water to flow and how smooth it is. Is this an optical illusion and does the water flow from the wider to smaller widths ? Thanks

granite water basin from my local Japanese nursery but you can also purchase from internet as well. There is a hidden pool of water underneath for the water circulation. I also found this from the internet. Atlantic Water Gardens Fountain Basin. Fountain Basin - 32" - the strongest and best-designed fountain
market, featuring deep plumbing channels on top of the basin and easy access to the pump. After installing the underground pool and the pump, cover it with a plastic mesh protector. The holes should be smaller than the pebble or gravel you need to cover around the granite water basin.

is the water feature installed and who was the manufacturer? Is it partial custom with a kit or was it all purchased together and installed in a niche? Thanks!
Beautiful feature with both aesthetic and practical benefits. This single photo inspired me to attempt an
indoor water feature in my home. It's my hope that placing it near our music room will help maintain sufficient humidity for instruments with soundboards. As I design the piece, I'm curious to know the total gallon capacity of the reservoir (since it must hold all water in the system) and the GPH of
is the water reservoir auto replenished with a float valve and it's own plumbed water source? I have to assume evaporation could remove a gallon or two for each full day of operation. Thanks much, and again, congratulations on such a dramatic and remarkable feature.

emitter water feature. Grand motor court gates and a drive lined with large specimen olive trees and a vast vineyard on the hillside completes this design.
Yes, fountains are beautiful, but aren't California, Arizona and other states having problems providing sufficient water to residents? If so, don't the building codes prohibit privately owned, decorative water features because water is wasted due to evaporation? Yes, the
the water is recycled through the fountain using a pump, but that cannot prevent loss via evaporation. In the face of water shortages, how can anyone justify these water wasters? Or am I missing something?
