the copper fountain head. Gently falling water. Contemplative experience.
Here the water "rains" away from the wall. More splashy?
water gently falling rather than being pushed, as shown here, produces a more peaceful and contemplative sound.
When designing your water feature, be mindful of how your system processes and moves water. Make sure that the kind of movement your system produces gives you the feeling you want to introduce into your space.A large volume of water being forcefully pushed over a waterfall can create a powerful feeling
feeling or even a boisterous vibe if it splashes about when hitting rocks below. By contrast, water gently falling rather than being pushed, as shown here, produces an entirely different garden experience, one that’s more peaceful and contemplative.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, can you let me know where I can buy this rock feature water feature from, seen many but never one like this, I LOVE IT!!!
how much for the water feature?
Definitely want a rock water feature -would be great if water feature could be made from the rock already on lot
Greg want's something with water sound...he doesn't think this would give off enough sound....I wonder
If you want to get a water feature that's even more understated, this is about the most subtle fountain you can get. It looks like a puddle after a rainstorm until you get close and notice the slight movement underneath the surface.
ic disappearing fountain.Usually the fountain sits up on a grate with a water basin below, but you can also fill up the basin with rock. The downside is that the pump will be harder to get to, and you'll have to refill the water basin more often.

Spanish tiles; and multiple accent spillways. A large, open dining 'room' with incredible views is accented by a refined bubbling urn and emitter water feature. Grand motor court gates and a drive lined with large specimen olive trees and a vast vineyard on the hillside completes this design.
justified in the face of water shortages?
Yes, fountains are beautiful, but aren't California, Arizona and other states having problems providing sufficient water to residents? If so, don't the building codes prohibit privately owned, decorative water features because water is wasted due to evaporation
evaporation? Yes, the water is recycled through the fountain using a pump, but that cannot prevent loss via evaporation. In the face of water shortages, how can anyone justify these water wasters? Or am I missing something?

We made this on site with two sizes of bamboo and a hole saw. Water comes up through the spout via tubing. Cheers.
Water feature next to cherry tree.
japanese water feature - beautiful in its simplicity
simple water; could use different styled spouts--gets away from the pimple look
Water sounds. How do do it inexpensively?
Complete the mood with simple sounds and soft music. The primal sound that a single drop of water makes as it falls into a basin is just as appropriate as a softly playing classical piece in opening the senses to the full beauty of the romantic garden. Less is more, so choose appropriately; then savor

Did you make the water feature or what is pre made? Would u be able to direct me where I could obtain it or find instructions on how to build it...Love your landscaping
install the pebbles. The benefits to this system are that it is easy to access and there is lots of water in the reservoir so you don't have to fill it up all the time. The negatives are that there is a water sound of dripping into the reservoir that, while pleasant, doesn't quite jive with what you are
love the smooth pebbles and raised water feature

Rock bowl water feature surrounded by grassy plants
gardens attract wildlife and make the outdoor space appear cooler. Pondless water features such as the one shown here are ideal for small spaces and require less maintenance than full-scale ponds. Professionally installed water features are ideal where design and longevity are concerned, but budget-conscious
