You are correct that Bamboo is very sensitive to water. This buyer was aware of the risks
risks, but to minimize the risk we used a stranded bamboo that I have been told is less sensitive to water.
Would you not risk ruining your bamboo, having is to close to the shower? Dripping water on it walking out of the shower seems like it would be detrimental over a period of time.

How is the water kept in the tub? Was this before a curtain rod was put up? Some kind of doors installed? I ask because I'm making my focal wall in the tub alcove, out of Italian tile. I'm dreading having to hide it. Curious for alternate ways to keep water off the floor. Thanks
I like the look of exposing the beautiful shower wall, but how do you keep the water from splashing all over the bathroom without a curtain?

Custom built pan? What keeps the water from getting out under the glass door?
the shower and some safety designed in of water gets past the door. In many showers the weakest point is when the hand held spray hits a shower door with no divertor. When this happens the water goes in both directions and this can cause a large amount of water to escape the shower. Better design would

While it is not necessary to literally incorporate the five elements (water, wood, fire, earth and metal), try to bring something that represents the elements into your space. For instance, glass or a mirror can stand in for water, a candle or lamp for fire, and ceramics for earth. A room with all five
