Surprise is always a great design tool, but the trick is to use it in a way that isn’t jarring. In this case the surprise of the violet bar stools is delightful, adding punch — but not a punch in the face

I am in the planning stage of my kitchen remodel. We will be removing a partial wall above the breakfast bar and may move cabinets to the left; resulting in a similar

for the late response. Many of our kitchen layouts include the upper cabinet over the eating bar. We always use a 180 degree hinge for the door so that a person has full access to the cabinet from the bar side as well. It has gone over very well and we haven't seemed to have any issues with it. I

These stools are from Lee Industries and were custom ordered through The Design Element. I believe this particular frame has been discontinued, but there are others that may be similar. Thanks for your question!

isn't a Viking product at all because there doesn't appear to be the Viking logo in it's usual placement and the knobs for this fryer are different in design that the usual Viking style. It also doesn't have the line running through the center plate as the other two rangetops have.
