Bulthaup Kitchen, room elements by Christine Tuttle Interior Design, Boston
This kitchen, designed and installed in 2008, was the hub of a design I did for a dark, unimaginative, 9,000 sq. foot house in a Boston suburb. It needed to incorporate light and have clean lines yet feel warm and engaging. A variety of woods, stone and metal materials, as well as more fragile materials
The floor is rift sawn white oak. The Chilewich pattern is Bamboo. Custom color way.
Doors and windows were custom. Please contact Christine Tuttle Interior Design at www.christinetuttle.com for information.

White makes everything look fresh and clean. And mismatched chairs, dishes and fabric say, "This is all intentional."

A gingham tablecloth brings a romantic country feel to any kitchen. It works especially well with floral window coverings in a retro cottage, keeping the room feeling breezy and light. The shorter textile lets the white legs of the table show

The resulting assembly of wood and metal outbuildings forms a minimalist compound containing a main house, guest house, painting studio and sculpture studio. The outbuildings are organized by and contained within a datum of low concrete walls, a tree bosque, hedgerows
Would you mind sharing the exterior paint color (white) and which brand batten board you used? Thanks!

choice for courtyards and patios too. Because they are a pioneer species in agricultural fields, they can lend a rural feel to a design, like in this photo. Also, you can grow shade-tolerant grasses and plants underneath them because of their dappled light. Honey locusts are commonly used in windbreaks

Eastover Cottage
Southern Living featured plan "Eastover Cottage" Photos by: J. Savage Gibson
Hi, may I ask what is the wood colour for the second floor? I am going to renovate my house and wondering if having natural oak stairs will match with gunstock wood floor. Thanks
I love the drama of the black and white stairs and wall molding, but don't know why homeowners spend so much on details and then install stamped metal A/C returns. Found
taken shortly after the house was completed, so do keep in mind that they will darken with age.

Are there any photos specifically of the exterior and interior of the home itself?
Dan Nelson of Designs Northwest Architects has the stain and paint colors for this house. You can see his work on the Houzz web site under professionals/seattle/architects. He would love to help you with the colors selected here.

Yes all of the white part of the kitchen is white poly and the central island section is laminate cabinetry. I am very happy with the balance between the two sides.
This is probably achievable but not great....might fit with rest of house better.
