The furnishings and decor planned by the designer were equally formal in this hallway. I wanted
of the floor. This chilly marble floor in it's volumous space only served to flatline the energy thoughout the home to the point where one could barely breath. I'm serious. Darn, the owners weren't open to re-doing the flooring.
As the Main Hallway to the kitchen, family room, bedrooms and other
damage the flooring had done to the energy in the house by getting a little rebellious with the walls.
In order to bridge all this formality with the casual and unruly walls, I felt like the 14" crown needed a little something to bring them the importance they deserved. I wanted to do something with them
