it shows cabinets on the wall across from the patio doors. It also looks like the island is pushed further out into the space that is current sitting table. I could see pushing that area out as well. This would expand the kitchen tremendously....maybe an island is still a possibility

I suppose the options would be to place another console table behind that couch as well, or to take out that lamp altogether and
