The curtains for big window at stairs.
Use of sheer panel for tall windows
Perfect window treatment for this application!
dramatic curtains for high up window
Adding drama. On a wall this high, upper windows can look like a lonely add-on. Sheer panels loosely tied back will provide a counterpoint to the hard edges. The best part: They won't break the bank.

the sills as they are and put darker oak wood trim on them? is it ok to have 2 tones of wood color for window sills and window trim???? please advise...thanks
What kind of windows are the casements? Anderson, pella? etc.. thx!
can a person mix colors on window sill and window trim?
we have original crank out windows installed in our home 15 years ago that are probably pine that were just varnished....now we are finishing lower level
The windows are pine and with the darker stain it blended well with the knotty alder – a lighter stain might have shown the differences in the woods.
What wood species are the windows? Was it difficult to match the windows with the trim?
Love the windows and the wood framing around them.
