I've been looking for something beautiful to cover only the bottom half of my windows. I've been frustrated by the lack of options to cover only the bottom half of my windows.
Like the swagged valance for living room windows
Love the window treatment. Perhaps for my bay window in kitchen
So the design of these are horrible but I like the idea....maybe only putting window treatments on half the window?

how does this window treatment work?
Is there any way we can make the channels for the window treatment? My husband is a very talented jack of all trades & can make almost anything, but I don't understand how these work.

Treatment on the upper middle window .
We have almost the exact windows in this photo. It appears that there is a shade or blind (pulled up). We're solar shades installed as well on these windows ?
I have four angled windows that are 12 ft tall and love this idea.....i don't know what to call the keepers at the top
Sorry it took so long to reply - got buried in the email.. There isn't a blind there, just looks like it because of the window glare. You certainly could use a translucent blind up there, though.

i like the window treatments for the kitchen linen/burlap
You can always tie up your curtains on the windows so that they don't block the sunlight. This provides a great decorative touch to the room while maintaining its full functionality.
