Hillside Kid's Room
I love the window seat and the built-in shelves! Did you use slat board or is it a painting technique?

Bay windows just to sit and read
Consider creating a “faux” bay window by building out the walls on either side of a conventional window. Insert bookcases into the sides of the bay, and use the space below the seat for drawer or cabinet storage.

Make of windows used in Sugar Bowl Residence
Could you please inform me of the manufacturer and type of windows used in this home. I would be most grateful! Thank you very much.

wall-to-wall window like this one will give you the feeling of soaking right out in nature — and making the bottom of the window level with the top of the tub will keep you from feeling overexposed. privacy, I say make use of it! worktop under windows -- able to look out
from the inside, the same corner window serves a small office space, giving the occupant a great panorama of the surrounding trees. A very nice distraction indeed.
Don't send creative energy out the window. It may seem like a lovely idea to put your desk facing a window with a view — but before you settle

McEvoy Kitchen
You're kitchen is lovely, especially the windows. I saw that you said the walnut has been very durable. What about the perimeter marble tops? How are they holding up and are that honed? I would appreciate any info, working on a remodel now.
Hi. I'm looking for other kitchen ideas that are similar to this. I like the long counter with windows. No upper cabinets. If you have something like this and can send it to me I would so appreciate it. Thanks so much. Best, Dana
Where did you put your receptacles along the window side of kitchen?

Tall vertical windows: Windows that echo outside
Wright often integrated notions of balance and nature into his work. The wall of windows in the living room creates an almost transparent divide from the outdoors. Also known for his principles of organic architecture, Wright had almost everything in the home made of natural materials. Here, the vintage
Vertical. The tall panes of glass and warm wood framing in this Frank Lloyd Wright home echo the vertical lines of the trees outside the windows, creating a seamless transition from indoors to out. A riff on this design would work well in a modern living space — especially one with high ceilings
