I love screened porches like this but what happens in the winter? Is everything just stored somewhere else? What about the flooring? Thanks

broad coverage design, that is not turf. good for out around back where I would be traveling to do chores-feeding horses. ok over winter, no salt, shallow snow shoveling area...

for our new home in Florida. Our dilemma with designing a new home with a courtyard is insect control. With so much access to the pool and all the ground cover near the doors, how often can the home be opened up? I know many have opinions regarding swimming at night, but we like it. Plus we'd love to leave
Below the steps there is a diving wall between the spa and pool. Water just barely flows thru. To reduce the time it takes to heat the spa in the winter, we let the water level fall low so that no water "escapes" to the pool.

What are the plants used to cover the top?
Yes, wisteria. I've also seen a very similar set-up at an outdoor cafe in Central Park, NY. It will withstand a cold winter climate
spaces. And really, what could possibly be more charming than a set of French doors flung open to let in a soft breeze? Wisteria would make a great cover...ground liter, and painting maintenance likely too troublesome.
