Can you tell me what type of wood was used for the siding? The semi-solid "bark" stain will look different on different species.
White cedar shingles and pine boards for the reverse board and batten.
nice. Like the small front porch that is covered. Also, like the different materials on the house, tin, shake and wood.

doesnt look like compostie wood. i belive it could be IPE which is widely used in middle eastern climates. correct me if im wrong.

What stain and finish did you use on the cedar spaced boards on the wall - Thank-you
material is clear cedar and we used a Sikkens stain with a color blend of two parts #045 mahagony and one part #072 butternut. FYI, the ceiling panels and wood trim on the windows are Lyptus with a clear finish.
