Kitchen remodelling in South Bristol
Looking for a thin stainless inside vent oven hood. Is that one I spy above the range? If so, what is make and cost please!
Hi, the flooring is engineered oak with a pre-applied varnish. We would not recommend solid wood flooring in a kitchen but engineered (i.e. real wood veneer on a plywood substrate) is suitable.
I just ordered a wood countertop from my cabinetmaker...we chose Sapele and yes, I cannot set anything hot on it, cut on it, leave water on it. But I don't do that now and

What kind of wood are the cabinets made of?
I love the horizontal lines in the wood that show through the stain - can someone tell me what kind of wood this might be and the color of stain?

Wood and paint cabinets. Nice.
warm mix of wood & crisp white
always loved that one. Well, throw out that advice in the kitchen. Mix it up — do your wall cabinets a completely different color or stained natural wood, versus painted. The tough part is deciding what finish to pick for your adjacent tall cabinets!

Painting these cabinets a mellow guacamole green and a rich cranberry red avoids wood-tone overload.
Lovely and warm green and red color combination with the natural wood.
