"Wood Kitchen Counter". I already have wood cabinets, wood laminated floors so need to have a counter that will go with my style and wooden kitchen table all Oak. Please I could you guide me to an idea that will work in my open kitchen/dinning room with open view into the living room styled home?

install wood tops in the kitchen, I'd be sure to keep a portable cutting board handy to avoid destroying the counter. Personally, if this were my kitchen, I would use that thick block for what it's intended.... Chopping... Kitchens need functioning work surfaces.
