The wood stove in here is so unique...I love it! Looked on the website listed and could not find it...do you have a model number or name? Also, what is the creamy white color on the walls? Thank you!
building a very similar house. I love everything about this interior! What material are the windows (fiberglass/wood/vinyl)? What color? How was the concrete stained/sealed? What color? What wood is the ceiling? Stain/color? Thanks!
looking stove. They've gone for a more "modern" streamlined look. Also a note on Rais stoves, the fire boxes are small and don't take cordwood longer than 12 or 14 inches. Not a problem if you cut your own wood but most people don't.

A combustion wood fire keeps the studio cozy during harsh winters. Large windows bring in light and a feeling of connection with the garden and wildlife. The concrete slab floor was made with a light-colored sand and white cement.

What manufacturer produced the fire pit bowl?
Its a custom fire pit feature. We used a planter bowl from Royola Pacific Arts and Crafts and ran gas and a drain line underneath the bowl.

There are a number of options that will work for you. If you google, "fire pit kettle" or "fire pit bowl", lots of options will present themselves. We had a recent customer install a set of our Artistic Metal Logs in a Sugar Kettle -- turned out really nice. See attached picture :-)

A wood-burning fire is as elemental as it gets.

build a stone wall in corner for fire pit?
Au naturel. A wood-burning fire is as elemental as it gets. That wonderful, unmistakable smoke smell hangs on to clothes and hair long after the flames die out, acting as a joyful reminder of camping trips and beach bonfires. modern fireplace has a wood-burner installed in the hearth, and the addition of a dark piece of art above creates a horizontal line, reminiscent of a mantelpiece.
Cottage appeal. A big cane basket set by the fire adds charm to this room, and it doesn’t matter if the wood-fired stove is in use or not
There’s nothing like a wood-burning stove to add charm to a dining room. But finding log storage can be a dilemma. This homeowner’s solution: a chubby round basket that is a design detail in itself.

Light a fire – or a candle! If you don’t have an open fire in your home, or don’t need the heat from one
