What is behind the metal door over the stove?
bake oven door was one of the items they wanted to include in the kitchen design. The solution was to create a niche in the backsplash ( which is proud of the back wall several inches and serves as a mechanical chase). The bake oven door in turn covers the niche which has shelves for olive oil and the
great feel, great look if we keep the ceilings low over the kitchen and high in the adjacent room. i like the metal details framing the lower cabinet doors

You can't really buy them as they were salvaged from a a 1920s bank entrance. You can go searching for such doors at architectural salvage yards such as Building Resources
