about. The house was probably photographed a few months after the house was completed. No difference in the color of the shingles, as we recently discovered they were painted shingles and not left naturally.

Love this house! May I know how many square feet is the house?
What kind of wood is the flooring.?
We are looking at plans to build a new house. We love the layout of the Cat Mountain Residence, but cannot find the plans to this house. Are there plans to purchase?
kind of wood of this beams?
Is it possible to get the floor plan for the house? Love the open plan!
decorative wood beams that match the reclaimed wood columns in this home. This is a remodel so it is difficult to give you more information than that but Glynis Wood did the interiors so it might be worth a try to check with her! glynisgwood@yahoo.com

What wood is used in the fence? Looks like 2x2 or 2x4 horizontal
However, the wood is cedar. We stained it a natural raw cedar tone and sealed it so that it would hold onto the fresh cedar color for years to come. Thanks!

love the wood "siding-(not sure if that's the correct term)" on this house. Can you tell me what type of wood this is. Would this be good for Florida? Does this wood fade at all? Thank you so much!
keep a wood exterior like this intact in chicago?
wood rot. A properly design wall with a vapor barrier, stainless steel screws and other details would help this system stay intact.
It's most likely a stained cedar, cypress, or redwood. These species are most rot resistant. Wood
The wood shown in the facade appears to be Ipe. Ipe is a Brazilian Hardwood that is actually 10x harder than Redwood. Ipe can be found in farmed raised regenerative forests. It is maintenance free and without any chemical additives. The natural properties of Ipe help resist termites, mold and wood

Howis this wood made in slats and attached to the house. I like the way it looks.
The ipe wood slats are fastened with nails. The actual material was broken down by the project's finish carpenter.

Love your work! Currently painting my entire house. ~
Can I use Shaker Beige, Quiet Moments, Woodlawn Blue & Weston Flax (maybe Revere Pewter too)all on my first floor? I have distinct rooms but there is a good flow in the house. Is that too much? I love these colors and want
bought a house with a grey/red granite in the kitchen and I wanted to use this color throughout the house on the running walls and in the family room and dining/living room since it is a pretty open floor plan. By looking at the BM swatch it looks very kacki but here is looks very grey. Please let me

: 1. Wood. There is no such thing as wall-to-wall carpet in Sweden. Warmth comes from wood and area rugs, and shoes are never worn inside the house. 2. Light, light and more light. We stayed in a house with 20 hours of daylight and not a single window treatment. There is no such thing as too much light
throughout the house, the colors are generally simple and bare to echo the landscape outside. While the more pale palette connects with the outdoors, the blue and orange accents throughout the home were designed as elements of comfort and nostalgia — they remind the clients of the time they spent living in China
