Did you use a liner for the wood box? I'm doing this in my home.
a smaller fireplace can look top heavy, but the solution is to make the wood niche the same height as the fireplace and then have the TV niche extend over both the fireplace and wood niche. Visually the fireplace and wood niche appear as one whole piece and together are larger than the TV. Problem solved

What wood is used? Can it be sent without finish so that we can stain or can you do that before shipment? What other choices for fridge other than subzero?
This niche was 57" wide x 26" depth x 108" ceiling height.
Thank you for your questions. This is maple wood and can be stained or left unfinished. It is modular pieces assembled on site and can range form $2500 to $4000. Lots of other options besides Sub Zero for the frig. Check out PIRCH.
