We are building a house and are trying to picture a kiva w/ stove insert. Have seen lots of more traditional styles with wood stove inserts but not kivas. Thanks for any info!

The wood is welsh walnut - a wood that has strong vertical grain with some squiggly movement. I picked a custom stain. Thanks for your question.

I love everything about the colors in this room from walls, to seating to throw pillows. Also like the contrast of light neutrals with the dark wood finishes on the furniture. Nice detail on the book shelves.

Reclaimed wood beams on the vaulted ceiling create the look that this beach house has been around for awhile, rather than being newly built. They also enhance the sense of nature already provided by the large glass doors on one side of the room. Used vertically, they also help create a visual separation
