Apart from that issue -- I think it is really a personal choice -- I like both but prefer wood. The house in this picture used concrete floors throughout over radiant”

I would gap the wood boards off of the cement with pressure treated furring strips and depending on how long concrete has been in place and what is above it ( exposed to elements and or completely protected from the elements) I would consider”
