love the paneling...what stain color is it?
my basement is paneled and I don't like the current color so not sure how to get your color. mine is light orangy oak...I prefer a darker wood
did you "treat" the paneling, or was it already that nice, warm-ish color? thanks! (i have orange-ish knotty pine, but would love a colour like this to be achievable....

What wood product and species is used for fireplace? It is beautiful
I would more or less echo that comment - most likely gas. And, if it is not, I have not heard of 30 inches. Generally, if you are installing a wood burning fireplace, you are required to have 20 inches of non-combustible
